Administrative Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs administrative and office support activities for non-profit organization. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, organization of volunteer material, creating spreadsheets, newsletter and presentations regarding the volunteers, and filing. Extensive software skills, Internet research abilities and strong communication skills are required. This is a paid position 15 hours a week, Tuesday – Thursday.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma

  • Proficient in MS office suite, Google Mail, Internet

  • The ability to manage multiple staff and work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, organizational skills, both analytical and problem solving, and the ability to work with confidential documents

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines under pressure.
